California property tax appeals, handled for you

Paying too much property tax? We’ll adjust your assessment.

Tell us where your California property is in about 2 minutes. We review your assessment, build the case and file with your county’s Assessment Appeals Board. You pay nothing unless we lower your taxes.

The deal, in plain terms

$0 upfront. No filing fees, no retainers.
Our fee is 30% of your first-year savings only.
No savings? You owe nothing.
You keep 100% of the savings in every year after.

How it works

1

Submit your details

Your name, contact info and property address. That’s it.

2

We build and file your case

We compare your assessment against recent sales and property records, then file with your county Assessment Appeals Board as your authorized agent.

3

You save. We get paid only then.

If your taxes go down, we invoice 30% of year-one savings. If they don’t, you owe nothing.

Our promise to you

Handled by a real person

Every assessment is reviewed, and every appeal is prepared and filed, by a real person who knows California property tax. No bots, no auto-generated filings.

Professional, personal service

You deal with the same person from start to finish. We check the details of your property ourselves and answer your questions directly.

Your information is never sold

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We use it only to handle your appeal and share it only as needed to file it with your county.

One simple fee: 30% of year-one savings

No savings, no fee. After the first year, every dollar saved is yours.

Example

Questions

What if my appeal doesn’t lower my taxes?

You pay nothing. Our fee only exists if you save.

When is the fee due?

After the reduced tax bill is issued. We invoice once, for 30% of the first year’s savings.

Can my taxes go up from appealing?

No, property taxes can’t increase through this appeal. In the worst case, they stay the same.

Where do you file appeals?

All 58 California counties. We file with your county’s Assessment Appeals Board, or ask the assessor for an informal decline-in-value (Prop 8) review when that’s the faster route.

Is my appeal handled by a person or automated?

A person. We review your assessment and comparable sales ourselves, prepare your case and file it as your authorized agent. Software only helps us keep track of paperwork and deadlines.

What do you do with my information?

We use it only to prepare and file your appeal. We never sell, rent or trade it. It goes to your county assessor and Assessment Appeals Board as needed for your appeal, and to the services that deliver our form and e-signatures.

When is the deadline?

The regular filing period runs July 2 to September 15, or to November 30 in counties that mail value notices to all owners. Submit early and we’ll track it for you.
